#MIVReveals - Manchester Community Central
Macc, Manchester’s local voluntary and community sector support organisation, will be joining us on Twitter for #MIVReveals on Wednesday 19th October 2016 at 4pm.
Macc is the local voluntary and community sector support organisation for the city of Manchester. A registered charity, working with a range of partners and other organisations to increase and develop the support available to the city’s voluntary and community sector.
In 2010 Manchester Community Central was launched. This portal provides Manchester's voluntary, community and social enterprise sector with an extensive range of resources, information and tools designed to meet current and future development needs.
Macc delivers a wide range of services including:
• Capacity building for local voluntary and community groups
• Support for local people wishing to volunteer (Volunteer Centre Manchester)
• Policy support, insight and influence - including convening the city’s Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly.
All these services are available on the Manchester Community Central website.
